A note from DaTou, Painting Fairy founder
Our brand was founded in 2010, there was not much in the way of modern cross stitch. Since then, the craft has exploded, with new designers creating a vast and exciting catalog of contemporary patterns.

I created Painting Fairy to help bring these modern cross stitch designs to a wider audience. I also wanted to make cross stitch more accessible by making it easy to find supplies and instruction.
